The guest lounge, where breakfast is served, has an extensive library of books, magazines and music for you to enjoy. The Coalbrookdale woodburning stove makes it a cosy retreat in the evenings, or on those rare(!) occasions when the rain sets in for the day. widdershins Free wifi is available for those who don’t want to leave the 21st century behind – the cottage’s thick stone walls mean most guests get the best signal in the lounge.

Our en-suite guestroom was fully refurbished in 2007, and has been described as “the perfect blend of old and new”.

An iron with mini-ironing board, hairdryer, and mini-fridge are also available should you wish to use them. For anything else, just ask and we’ll see what we can do…
